You Plugin a Pen drive and your Pen drive had no response in PC or Pend drive not detected, So that this article will helps you to enable the USB ports in Windows Xp, Windows 7, 8 and 10 Operating System of your PC, Even when Control Panel is Blocked.


Follow the Steps below to enable USB Ports.


I suggest to you two methods that can use to enable USB ports, Using Device Manager and Registry Editor, Use one by one to enable the ports.

Enable USB ports Using Registry Editor "regedit"

These steps are to enable the USB ports in Windows Xp,7, 8 and 10 by Using Registry Editor "regedit".

1. Go to Run by pressing together Windows Key + R

2. Type "regedit" and click OK.

3. Locate and click the following registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MASHINESYSTEMCurrentSetServicesUsbStorage

4. In the right pane, Double tap the START

5. In the value box, type 3.

6. Quit Registry Editor. You are done!!

Using (Device Manager) devmgmt.msc.

Enable the USB ports in Windows Xp, Windows 7, Windows 8 and even Windows 8.1 by using (Device Manager) devmgmt.msc:

1. Go to Run ( Window key + R )

2. Then type "devmgmt.msc" and click OK.

3. Click on the Universal Serial Bus Controllers. And Enable all the disable ports.

Disable USB Ports Using (Registry Editor) "regedit"

These steps help to disable the USB ports in Windows Xp, Windows 7, Windows 8 and 10 Using  (Registry Editor) "regedit"

1. Go to Run by pressing together Windows Key + R

2. Type "regedit" and click OK.

3. Locate and click the following registry key :HKEY_LOCAL_MASHINESYSTEMCurrentSetServicesUsbStorage

4. In the right pane, Double tap the START

5. In the value box, type 4.

6. Quit Registry Editor. You are done!
